Texas Excalibur is very proud of the fencers who have gone on to accomplish great things! Over the past 20 years, many faces have come and gone and we would like to recognize some of them and let others know where they are now. (If you are reading this and were part of TexEx over the years or know of someone we omitted, or would like some of the information edited, please send any info to polspeek@gmail.com and we would be happy to add the info! Old pictures are welcome!) In no particular order, these are some of our alumni and any info we have on where they are and what they are doing: Libby De La Torre— Socorro High School. Is currently at the Air Force Academy, majoring in Biology.
Luke Baker– Canutillo High School. Is currently attending UTEP/EPCC and is majoring in Music.
Matthew Wojciechowski - Franklin High School. Is currently attending UTEP, majoring in Computer Science.
Matthew Harding - Franklin High School. Currently attending UTEP, majoring in Psychology.
Chris Rogers - Franklin High School. Currently an A-rated fencer in both Epee and Foil, attended UTEP but graduated UT Austin in May 2007 with a degree in Archeology. Michael Ross - Cathedral High School. Ohio State/UTEP, got his BS in electrical engineering from UTEP in Dec, 2007. Now employed with NASA. Anita Collins - Home School. Currently at UT Austin. Kristen Wentrcek - Coronado High School. May 2007 graduate of NYU. Currently employed with The Trump Corporation in Manhattan.

Ranjeet Singh - Franklin High School. Graduated from NYU where he was an All American A-Fencer in Epee. Currently works in New York City Education Department in Systems Management as of 2006. Ajay Singh - Coronado High School. Received 2 undergraduate degrees from Rice University and a Master's in Computer Engineering from UT. Graduated from Duke Law School and become a Patent Lawyer. Currently working as a Patent Litigator with Perkins Coie in Seattle, WA. Also, a husband to Morela and father to a son, Luca. Congrats! Sean Bruna - Coronado High School. Weapon of fame: saber. BA, MA University of Chicago, Department of Anthropology; MA, UNM; Currently a PhD student in Ethnology and Linguistics. Robert Ellis - Coronado High School. Weapon of fame: foil. Graduated Bodoin College, studied at the University of Scotland in Edinboro. Currently at the University of Texas working on his PhD in Educational Psychology.

Noah Alpern - Graduated from El Paso Country Day School in 2000, and the University of Denver with a Batchelor of Business Administration in 2003. He is currently living in San Diego, CA, and working in the hotel & resort management business. His strong suit in fencing was epee.
